A YouView Box Update

December 5th, 2019

TalkTalk Software Update 60.48.81 & 72.48.81 / 3.6.138

This is a software release for TalkTalk DN360T & DN372T devices which includes some new features and bug fixes.

What's new?

Jump to time

You can now skip 10% increments on your recording playback by pressing a number on the keypad.

The recording is split into 10 parts so pressing ‘5’ on the keypad will skip playback to 50%, while 3 will skip 30%.

Delete search history

We have introduced the functionality to delete your YouView search history.

To do this, simply go into the search area, highlight any programme in your search history and press delete on your remote control.

TV Shows & Films

The old Discover section is evolving into two sections - TV Shows and Films – so you’ll be able to browse TV shows and films by category in their own dedicated areas.

Full screen pages - When you click on TV shows or Films you’ll be able to browse the following full screen pages.

Continue Watching On Demand

Main Menu > MyTV will now show both your Recordings and your On Demand viewing activity.

It is based on your most recent activity so if the last thing you did was make a recording, that will appear first.

When you watch something in a Player, your last watched episode will then appear first in Main Menu > MyTV.

Bug fixes

A fix is included in this release for scheduled recordings not appearing in the Scheduled Recordings section of MyTV.
