Getting YouView

A YouView Box FAQ

Thinking about getting YouView? We’re ready when you are. To help, here is some information you might find useful:

Before you buy anything, let’s make sure you can use YouView in your home. Here’s a checklist of things you’ll need:

  • An aerial with a good signal
  • At least a 3Mb/s broadband connection
  • A wired connection to your router. The box should come with an Ethernet Cable but if your router is too far from your TV, then you may need a pair of Powerline adapters.

Don’t forget to check your digital TV coverage on the Freeview website and your broadband speed using a broadband speed checker.

No, we work with any broadband connection.

The choice is yours.
