Change automatic standby time

You can change the standby time in the settings menu to something that suits you best.

The auto standby time can be set so that your YouView box automatically goes into standby when left idle.


To change the auto standby time, follow these steps:
 

  • Open the Menu
  • Select Settings*
  • From Box management select Power & standby
  • Select Automatic standby
  • Choose your preferred time from 2, 3, 4 or 12 hours options
  • Select Done

Please note: The auto standby mode cannot be turned off.

*Settings can be found via the cog in the top right corner of the menu. You can get to the cog by pressing Up and right after opening the menu.
