Launching YouView on a Sony TV

A YouView on Sony FAQ

If you have already enabled YouView and accepted our terms of use, then there is easy access to YouView from any of these routes

Does your Android homescreen look like this?

If you have already performed your Android setup (including signing in to your Google account) it’s easy to access YouView from any of these routes: 

  1. Launch Live TV & Catchup from the Android Home Screen 
  2. Press the TV button on your remote 

If you have not already updated the Live TV & Catchup app, you will be prompted to do so when trying to launch the Apps, TV Shows or Films areas of the Main Menu. Simply follow the steps and accept terms and conditions to continue using YouView on your Sony TV. 



If you have already enabled YouView and accepted our terms of use, then there is easy access to YouView from any of these routes:
 

  1. Guide Button on the Standard remote
  2. TV Button on the Standard remote
  3. Press the HOME button > Featured Apps > YouView
  4. When watching Live TV, press OK or Up/Down to bring up the YouView Mini Guide.
  5. Press the HOME button > select Watch TV from the Recommendations at the top of the Home screen
  6. Press the HOME button > Inputs > Digital
  7. Press the HOME button > Apps > Program guide
  8. Press the HOME button > Apps > Featured Apps > Sony Select > YouView
  9. Press the DISCOVER button  >  Navigate to On Now > Scroll left and select the YouView guide
