Set up your security question

A YouView Box FAQ

The security question is future proofing for your PIN.

If you ever forget your PIN, you can answer your security question and we’ll let you change the PIN to something new. Let’s set yours up:

Bring up the menu with the menu button on your remote

  1. Select Settings*
  2. Scroll down to the Parental Controls area and select Change Parental Control PIN
  3. Enter your current Parental PIN. The default is 1234. Forgotten your pin?
  4. Change your PIN
  5. Once changed you can set up your security question
  6. Use the number pad on your remote to type in your answer
  7. Select Done

Forgotten both PIN & security question?

*Settings can be found via the cog in the top right corner of the Menu. You can get to the cog by pressing Up and right after opening the Menu.
